CHANGE POLICIES
HOSTED GROUP TRIP MINIMUM ATTENDEE NUMBERS
A departure date for a scheduled ‘Hosted Group Trip’, offered and operated by Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd. in partnership with a trip promoter (such as a social media influencer), will be confirmed as a guaranteed departure once the minimum number of participants have secured their spot with full payment.
If the minimum number is not met, all payments received will be refunded in full, less any applicable administration fees as outlined in the Booking-Specific Terms & Conditions.
CHANGE REQUESTS TO CONCIERGE AND GROUP BOOKING SERVICES
One change is permitted with no additional administration cost charged by Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd., this does not apply to any supplier fees that occurred due to the change (i.e. due to seasonal rate changes, name change, rescheduling fees) if applicable. You, the Client, agrees to pay for supplier fees incurred.
Additional changes receive a CAD$25 per booking administration fee (waived in the event that the overall package value increases). Additional supplier penalties may result as well.
CHANGE REQUESTS TO EVENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Should the request be outside of the ‘scope of services’ previously detailed in the Proposal Document, Budget or Booking Form the Client may be subject to additional charges. These charges will be clearly communicated and agreed by both parties before the changes will be implemented to the Booking Form.
CHANGES TO THE ITINERARY MADE BY LEMONADE EVENTS & EXPERIENCES OR THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS AND TOUR OPERATORS
Safety is our primary concern. Please note on some tours or group travel programmes, it may be necessary to modify the itinerary due to weather and / or road conditions. If so, we will endeavour to add other sights and activities to replace those omitted. If the itinerary is modified to one that is less expensive than the original, the client will be refunded the difference in cost between the original and modified itineraries. If the itinerary is modified to one that is more expensive than the original, the Client’s advance approval will be obtained, and the Client will be charged the difference between the original and modified itineraries. If a tour is cancelled and no substitute tour is available or acceptable to the Client, the Client will be refunded the full cost of the tour minus any applicable vendor payments.
The Client is responsible for all additional transportation or lodging costs that are necessitated by weather. In addition, if a Client has planned to travel by air to a tour or lodging facility that can also be accessed by ground transportation, there will be no refund if the air transportation is cancelled and the client chooses not to access the tour or lodging facility by ground transportation.
There are no refunds if a Tour operates but the client decides due to weather or any other reason not to participate. Participation in activities, tours, and transportation is not mandatory and purely voluntary. We strongly recommend travel insurance to help protect against unforeseen circumstances.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
Should you need to cancel your trip, experience, or event in full or partially, you must notify us in writing by email to hello@experiencelemonade.com. Notification of cancellation is based on the working week in Canada. Weekend days or statutory holidays cannot be calculated in day’s prior policies for cancellation fee avoidance. An acknowledgement of cancellation notice will be sent; should you not receive this advice then cancellation has not been received by Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. and must be resent. We strongly recommend independent purchase of travel insurance.
Cancellation policies vary depending on the suppliers and vendors involved in your booking. These policies will be detailed either in your Booking Form or on the Booking Page (when hosted via WeTravel) and will supersede the General Terms and Conditions in the event of any conflict. Our ability to provide refunds is subject to the terms set by our suppliers.
Any service, planning or management fees paid to Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd are non-refundable.
INDIVIDUAL TRAVEL PACKAGES INCLUDING REMOTE LODGES, WILDLIFE PACKAGES & UNIQUE ADVENTURE PACKAGES
Individual cancellation policies will show within the Booking-Specific Terms & Conditions and supersede the Cancellation Policies within the General Terms & Conditions document.
CANCELLATION BY THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS AND TOUR OPERATORS
While Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd. is committed to delivering exceptional service and coordinating your experience to the highest standard, we act solely as a facilitator between our clients and third-party suppliers, tour operators, and venues.
We cannot guarantee the operation of third-party services, but we do guarantee that we will communicate clearly, coordinate with verified suppliers, and act in good faith to support and advocate for your experience.
All trip details and itineraries are subject to reasonable changes and may be updated based on supplier availability, weather, or safety concerns. For the most current information, we recommend reviewing the supplier or tour operator's website, or contacting them directly. Brochures and printed materials may not always reflect the most current schedule and are not guaranteed.
In the event of a cancellation (by the Supplier) of a Service where Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. acts solely as an agent for the Suppliers, all effort is made to provide you with a suitable alternative of the Service.
Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. may modify, postpone, or cancel services due to public health events (e.g. pandemics). Refunds or credits will follow Supplier policies.
Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you incur as a result of the cancelled travel service by a third party supplier or tour operator including visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
Where a significant element of a Service as described cannot be provided after departure, Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. will make suitable alternative arrangements where possible.
UN-USED SERVICES
There will be no refunds for services which are not utilised. Should attendees/participants fail to arrive for their pre-booked service/product or voluntarily cancel, amend or otherwise alter their arrangements; Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. will not be responsible for refunds. This is regardless of inferred or implied assurances on behalf of any of the Service Providers.
Certain services (e.g., meals, activities, or experiences) may be provided with a per-guest budget or allowance. In the event the full amount allocated is not used, no refunds or credits will be issued. Unused funds are retained by Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd. to account for administrative coordination, service delivery, and supplier relations.
