Beyond the Obvious: Exploring Group Activities & Adventures in Whistler

A group adventure to Whistler can go two ways.

One option is to follow the typical route - book a few super cool activities (we have plenty), choose a really great restaurant or two (we have plenty of those too), and then go about enjoying your vacation - soaking it all in! The other is to discover, think outside-the-box and create memories you'll cherish for years to come! Whistler offers both, and that's the beauty of it.

At LEMONADE., we LOVE creating moments that go beyond the expected. When clients share their vision and excitement with us, it fuels our creativity to design creative group adventures and experiences that are thrilling!

A Different Kind of Group Travel in Whistler

'Beyond the Obvious' experiences are not found on typical itineraries or tourism websites. They are inspired through local knowledge, thoughtful planning, and of course access to hidden gems - these experiences are as individual as your group and can rarely be experienced twice.

To give you an idea of what we mean by “Beyond the Obvious,” here are a few examples:

🚁 Not just a helicopter tour, but after the tour is complete head to a backcountry landing spot we built just for this moment, where a snowcat awaits to take you to your own purpose-built snow table, remote cabin, yurt, or geo-dome for a cozy dining experience.

🏔 Not just a hike, but an alpine hike to a gorgeous viewpoint, where lunch is served and you’ll learn about the area’s history and culture from a local Indigenous guide, gaining a deeper understanding of the land. Shall we paddleboard on an alpine lake whilst we're at it?

🚴‍♂️ Not just bike park laps, but let's include some shuttle laps in an area as equally awesome as Whistler for mountain biking. Chuck in a photographer to capture some pictures as you ride, or a pro rider to be your guide and coach.

🔥 Not just accommodation, but a secluded spot with stunning views of Whistler Blackcomb, where you can relax under the stars and unwind in the hot tub, drink in hand.

We Keep It Creative — but we know when to let nature steal the show

Some experiences we organise are all about the details, the ones that are looking to elevate the adventure to something unforgettable.

Others are simply about letting nature take centre stage. After all, there’s nothing we could add to the view from a glacier that would make it feel more surreal. We just have to know where to go and how to get there!

This is the balance we aim for in group travel to Whistler - knowing when to make the experience unforgettable with creative flair, versus when to step back and let nature speak for itself.

For Groups That Want More Than a Standard Itinerary

Working with preset levels of service and familiar vacay-packages may be perfect for some, we can't knock that. However, at LEMONADE., we thrive on designing personalised, unique group activities, itineraries, and events based on what you are truly looking for. We LOVE to go 'Beyond the Ordinary'.

So, when planning your Whistler trip, ask yourself: Do you want the usual? Or are you seeking something different?

If it’s the latter, you know where to find us.

We can’t wait to hear from you!
