GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION, BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
Welcome to Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd. ("Lemonade," "we," "our," "us"). By engaging our services, you agree to these General Terms & Conditions ("T&Cs", “general T&Cs”, “terms”, “general terms”), which govern all group travel arrangements, event planning, and concierge services. By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these T&Cs. If booking on behalf of other participants, you confirm you have the authority to do so and accept these Terms on their behalf. These Terms affect your legal rights. Please read them carefully.
Certain bookings may require acceptance of additional Booking-Specific Terms & Conditions (including Cancellation Policies), which take precedence over these General T&Cs in case of any conflict.
Services Provided Lemonade provides:
• Event planning and coordination
• Group travel arrangements
• Group adventure planning
• Concierge services (accommodation, activities, dining, transport, etc.)
All services are limited to what is legal, ethical, and considered safe and socially responsible.
We act as an intermediary between clients and third-party providers ("Suppliers"). While we work only with reputable Suppliers, we are not liable for their actions, omissions, or service failures.
Bookings & Payment Overview Bookings are confirmed either: (i) By signing a Booking Form and these T&Cs, or (ii) Through full payment via our booking platform, where acceptance of the Terms is required.
Term These Terms are effective upon booking confirmation and remain in force until the completion of services.
Currency All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and subject to tax unless stated otherwise.
Payments, Fees & Changes Authorizing use of your credit card or submitting e-transfer constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Direct wire transfers are accepted for bookings more than 60 days out. All bank fees are the responsibility of the client.
Not Included in Price Unless expressly stated, services exclude travel to departure points, airfares, visas, insurance, baggage fees, airport taxes, gratuities, extra meals, ferry tolls, park fees, laundry, alcohol, optional tours, or personal expenses.
Changes in Price & Itinerary Prices and availability may change due to fluctuations in fees from airlines, hotels, government agencies, or other providers. We reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly.
Credit Card Administration Fees Credit card fees are not included unless otherwise noted.
Deposits & Payment Schedules

10% deposit + supplier deposits (if required) due at booking confirmation.

Full payment due 45 days before Service Date.

Bookings within 45 days require full payment upon booking.

Some trips require full payment regardless of timing; such terms will be specified.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation by the Client All cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@experiencelemonade.com. Weekends and statutory holidays are not included in cancellation timelines. If you do not receive an acknowledgment of cancellation, it is your responsibility to resend the notice.
Refunds depend on the terms of our Suppliers and are subject to their policies. Booking-Specific Terms override these General Terms where applicable. Travel/event insurance is strongly recommended.

All planning and organisation fees paid to Lemonade are non-refundable. These will be outlined in the Booking-Specific Cancellation Terms.
Standard Cancellation Windows:

Cancellations more than 45 days before the start date: Full refund, less planning and organisation fees and any non-refundable supplier deposits.

Cancellations 30 - 45 days before the start date: 50% refunds may be available, subject to terms as outlined in the Booking-Specific Terms and Conditions.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 30 days of the start date unless otherwise stated in the Booking-Specific Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation by Suppliers If a Supplier cancels part or all of a service, Lemonade will work in good faith to find alternatives but cannot guarantee replacements. Supplier terms govern refunds.
Lemonade is not liable for expenses incurred from cancellations by third-party providers, including travel arrangements, visas, or loss of enjoyment.
Force Majeure Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd. shall not be liable for failure to perform any part of its obligations if such failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control ("Force Majeure Events"). These include, but are not limited to: war, riot, civil commotion, strike, lock-out, fire, explosion, flood, pandemic, natural disaster, acts of God, or any government-imposed restrictions.
In such cases:

Lemonade will not issue refunds for services cancelled, delayed, or disrupted due to a Force Majeure Event.

We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide suitable alternatives where possible.

Any recoveries or credits will be subject to supplier terms.
If a Third Party, Tour Operator, or Supplier is prevented or restricted directly or indirectly from carrying out all or part of their obligations under these Terms due to a Force Majeure Event, Lemonade is relieved of its obligations during the period of disruption. Lemonade will not be liable for any delay, loss, or damages arising from such circumstances, provided written notice is given within 48 hours of the Force Majeure Event.
Unused Services No refunds are issued for unused services, including missed arrivals and no shows, voluntary changes, non-participation in activities or unused per-guest allowances.
Travel and/or Event Insurance is strongly recommended to cover unexpected disruptions.
3. CHANGE POLICY
Hosted Group Trip Minimums Minimum numbers must be met for Hosted Group Trips (including influencer-led trips). If not met, all payments are refunded less any administration fees stated in the Booking-Specific Terms.
Client-Initiated Changes for Concierge Services

One change allowed at no extra fee (excluding Supplier-imposed costs).

Additional changes incur a CAD$25 admin fee per booking (waived if the total package value increases).
Event Management and Group Trip Service Changes Requests beyond the scope outlined in your Booking Form or Proposal may incur extra charges. All such charges will be communicated and require written approval before implementation.
Itinerary Changes by Lemonade or Suppliers Changes due to weather, safety, or Supplier availability may result in itinerary adjustments:

Substitutions of equal or greater value will be offered.

If downgraded, a refund of the price difference will be provided.

If upgraded, client approval and payment of the difference is required.
There are no refunds for choosing not to participate in activities that operate as scheduled.
Travel and/or Event Insurance is strongly recommended to cover unexpected disruptions.
4. DOCUMENTATION
Lemonade provides documentation tailored to your booking type. This may include detailed itineraries, booking overviews, and supplier vouchers. Final documentation is sent approximately 14 days before departure (or within 7 days for last-minute bookings), pending full payment and required information. Please note:
Supplier Release of Liability / Waiver of Claims All participants are required to individually sign and agree to the activity and supplier-specific Release of Liability and Waiver of Claims prior to participating in any activity included in the itinerary curated by Lemonade and agreed upon by the Client.
Passports & Travel Documents Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet all travel document requirements. Passports must be valid beyond return dates and meet entry requirements for Canada. Check www.travel.gc.ca for updates. Visitors may require visas or electronic travel authorizations.
5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients agree to:

Clients must provide accurate and complete information when making bookings.

Any special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions, accessibility needs) must be communicated in advance, but fulfilment is subject to supplier capabilities.

Clients are responsible for all incidental charges incurred during their stay at any hotels or accommodations, whether booked through Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd. or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to, parking, minibar items, room service, and additional amenities — unless otherwise stated in the Booking-Specific Terms & Conditions.

Each participant of any trip (inclusive of activities) or event organised by Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. is expected to act responsibly and adhere to all behaviour guidelines established by Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. and our Suppliers, including adhering to dress codes at religious or cultural sites or Supplier dress codes.

Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. and all local Suppliers reserve the right to remove any participant from any facility, hotel, resort property, tour location, or means of transportation if their health or conduct appears to endanger themselves or others, disrupts the general well-being of other clients, or interferes with the operation or security of the places visited. You will not be entitled to any refund for unused or missed services or costs incurred as a result of termination of your travel arrangements, including, without limitation, return travel, accommodations, meals, and incidentals.

You agree to take all reasonable precautions to ensure your own safety throughout your experience. This includes properly using all provided safety equipment (such as seatbelts, helmets, harnesses, and flotation devices), as well as following all safety signage, instructions, and verbal or written warnings from Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd or its suppliers. Lemonade and its third-party partners will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your failure to follow safety guidance.

Clients are responsible for any expenses incurred by Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. or its partners due to damage, loss, or theft of property caused by you during your experience. This includes, but is not limited to, charges for repairs, replacements, or professional cleaning. Any pre-existing damage you notice must be reported promptly to a Lemonade representative and the relevant accommodation, transport provider, or venue staff as soon as it is identified.

Baggage and personal effects are at all times the sole responsibility of the participant.

Any transportation, possession, or use of illegal drugs will result in immediate termination of the trip or event and may result in prosecution by law enforcement authorities. Clients are responsible for knowing and observing local British Columbia, Canada licensing laws for drug possession (including prescription and over-the-counter drugs). Laws may require carrying a prescription from a doctor.
Minors

Clients acknowledge that individuals under the age of 19 ("Minors") may participate in certain services or activities only with the express consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Guests under the age of 19 (“Minors”) may not participate in certain trips, events, or experiences offered by Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd. unless explicitly permitted in the Booking-Specific Terms & Conditions.

Where permitted, minors under the age of 19 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entirety of the trip or experience. Unaccompanied participation by minors is not allowed under any circumstances.

A parent or legal guardian must sign all required Supplier waivers and agreements on behalf of the Minor before participation in any activities.

Some activities may require the presence of a parent or legal guardian during participation, as determined by the supplier’s terms. It is the Client’s responsibility to confirm these requirements in advance.

Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. is not responsible for any issues arising from the failure to obtain necessary consents or comply with supplier restrictions regarding Minors.

Parents and legal guardians assume full responsibility for the safety, conduct, and well-being of Minors during participation in any services booked through Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd..

Insurance All participants are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical coverage and trip cancellation protection. For some group trips, travel insurance may be mandatory and will be noted in the Booking-Specific Terms & Conditions.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY & MEDIA POLICY
Confidentiality

Lemonade's Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect client information. By using our services, clients consent to our data practices.

Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. will not disclose any confidential information obtained from clients, except as authorised by the client or required by law.

Clients must also maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information received from Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd.

Confidentiality obligations remain in effect indefinitely, even after the conclusion of services.
Media Use Lemonade (or Trip Hosts working with Lemonade) may use photos or footage taken during your experience for future promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to such use and to being contacted regarding future events and promotions.
7. CONSUMER PROTECTION & FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES

Clients outside of British Columbia are responsible for understanding any additional consumer protections that may apply in their jurisdiction. Please contact us directly with any concerns.
CLAIMS
Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. is committed to customer satisfaction. If you encounter any difficulties or problems please let us know immediately so that we may attempt to address your concerns. If we are unsuccessful in resolving your concern, and your claim is for any reason not covered by the Liability Release & Agreement Not to Sue detailed above, you agree that any claim relating in any way to any Services arranged through
Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. is null and void unless notice is provided in writing within 60 days of the completion of any Services and unless arbitration proceedings are commenced within one (1) year of the completion of any Services.
8. RIGHT TO CHANGE T&Cs
Lemonade reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any material changes that may impact their bookings.

9. LIABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY AND RELEASE & AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE
Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. acts solely as an agent for the suppliers used in the programme. Although great care is taken in choosing suppliers, we are unable to directly control them and therefore cannot be liable for their acts or omissions. The Services are subject to the conditions imposed by these suppliers, and their liability may be limited to their tariffs, conditions of carriage, international conventions, and agreements.
Lemonade Events and Experiences Ltd. acts as an agent and is not responsible for any loss, injury, delay, or dissatisfaction resulting from services provided by suppliers.
Clients acknowledge that travel and event participation involve risks. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain any necessary insurance.
We shall not be liable for any force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics) that impact service delivery.
Some group tours offered by Third Parties / Tour Operators are based on minimum participant numbers; if the number of participants falls below the minimum required, a surcharge may be imposed, or the tour may be cancelled. Any cancellations of a tour or package for reason of failing to meet the minimum number requirement will be governed by the tour operator’s cancellation policy.
Lemonade is not responsible if participation in any activities included within the itinerary leads to a worsening of any pre-existing conditions. We are also not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or losses (including loss of life) arising from participation in activities.
Clients acknowledge and assume all risks involved in participating in activities, including physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, disability, or death, and accept full responsibility for their participation.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to any Supplier terms and waivers required for their bookings. Lemonade is not liable for terms entered into directly with Suppliers.
Suppliers may make alterations to itineraries due to factors such as severe weather. Such changes are at the sole discretion of the Supplier, and Lemonade bears no responsibility for these alterations.
As an agent for suppliers, Lemonade does not control their operations and is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or dissatisfaction with services. We disclaim liability for any act, error, omission, or failure of suppliers, including cancellations, service failures, bankruptcy, or changes beyond our control.
Lemonade facilitates services provided by licensed third-party vendors. Any service of alcohol is the sole responsibility of the licensed venue or caterer. Lemonade is not liable for the service, monitoring, or consequences of alcohol consumption, including overconsumption.
10. AGREEMENT
I, the Client of Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd., hereby agree to the General Terms & Conditions set out in this document and acknowledge that all participants in my group are required to review and agree to these terms. I confirm that I have the authority to accept and sign these terms on behalf of my group and all participants. I further agree to indemnify and hold Lemonade Events & Experiences Ltd. harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from this booking, including the participation of myself and all members of my group in the services provided.
